I can see this being a polarizing track. However, you can’t deny that it’s heavy. As is customary, Adiidas has released “Take It Up” after first playing it at his live shows. He’s been touring the west coast of the USA near his hometown of Lake Tahoe which has been great for embracing his sound.
And that’s all I can really tell you about Adiidas. Well, that and his name is pronounced similarly to the street/sportswear brand Adidas. His sound can be described as “experimental,” though anyone who’s heavily into electronic music might tell you that it’s a trip-hop, downtempo, glitch trap fusion. No matter what you call it, it’s sick. I especially like the inclusion of non-standard sounds like the broken glass in the outro–it reminds me of Grandtheft & Jackal’s tune, “Let Me Tell You Something” off the Keep It 100 EP.
